Yan Wu is a first-year Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley, advised by Professor Kenichi Soga. He graduated from Tongji University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2023 and obtained his M.S. degree in System Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2024. His research focuses on developing a new generation of fiber optic interrogators at a lower cost.
