Jiahui is currently a 1st-year PhD student working in the fiber optic group. He achieved his Bachelor of Engineering (2020) in Geotechnical Engineering from Hohai University (Nanjing, China) and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering (2022) from UC Berkeley. He joined SRG in Feb. 2022 and is now working with Prof. Kenichi Soga on the campus deep borehole project and leading the thermal conductivity tests. His interests include the application of fiber optic sensors, sensing data analysis, and geothermal testing.
