Connor is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Soga Research Group interested in the applications of the Material Point Method (MPM), particularly with regard to modeling dynamic problems. He received his BSc (2022) and MSc (2023) in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. Previous work within the group includes the modeling of the Lower San Fernando Dam failure in OpenSees – a finite element program.
