Yuji Fujita is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, UC Berkeley. He is focused on data analysis of tunnelling during the construction stage by utilizing machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques.
He set up and ran a company Enzan (Asia) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and spread the business into south-east Asia before joining the lab.
He involved in system development and installation of the products in tunnelling construction sites in various countries after joining Enzan Koubou (http://enzan-k.com/). He shifted back his expertise to research and development of data analysis.
Yuji Fujita got his B.Eng and M.Eng in Civil Engineering of Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.
