Dayu participated in UC Berkeley’s Ph.D. commencement in the spring of 2023 on Thursday, May 18th. The memorable occasion was captured in photos, including the hooding session by Professor Soga and a moment with Berkeley Geosystems Engineering faculty and other Ph.D. graduates in front of the iconic UC Berkeley Campanile (photos by CoE). Dayu has now accepted a postdoctoral position within the same group, where he will support Professor Soga in developing the Center for Smart Infrastructure and continue his research on AI and Machine Learning applications for infrastructure and construction.
