The SRG recently gathered to bid a farewell to Dayu, who is leaving the group in August, and to celebrate Nanda’s PhD graduation which happened last May.
Dr. Dayu Apoji has been with our group since 2018, for his PhD study on the usage of machine learning in tunneling. Dayu then continued working with us as a postdoctoral researcher extending his expertise in machine learning for pipelines and other infrastructure. Upon leaving our group, Dayu will be returning to Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia, to work as a faculty member in their department of civil engineering.
Dr. Bodhinanda (Nanda) Chandra, recently graduated from our group last May and started his postdoctoral research post in the department of mechanical engineering at Berkeley. Nanda has been a part of our group since 2019 as a PhD student. From now onward, Nanda will continue his affiliation with our group as visiting scholar and collaborator of the MPM team.
