Weijian is currently a visiting student at the University of California, Berkeley. He obtained his Bachelor degree from Sun Yat-sen University, China, in 2016. Now he is a PhD student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under and his thesis supervisor is Prof. Jidong Zhao (http://jzhao.people.ust.hk). Weijian’s research mainly focus on multiscale modeling (MPM-DEM) of large deformation in geomechanics.
