Ruonan Ou and Linqing Luo went to Richmond field station to do the vehicle detection on the pavement. Fujikura cable and 2mm black cable are attached to the surface of the pavement. One sedan is driving on the cable and stop on the cable. The test is about the proof of concept about the vehicle detection on the pavement.
The result shows that the movement of the car is successfully detected and more work will be done in the future.
